This post is dedicated to my sweet friend Brook. She is one of the best friends a girl could ever hope for. She is loyal, kind, graceful, humble, wise, honest... beautiful inside and out. And she loves the Lord deeply. She and her amazing husband have been trying to have a baby for a VERY long time. They are that couple who you just know would make the most incredible parents. It's SO hard to see her go through the rounds of fertility treatments and get her hopes up, only to have them fall time and time again. I know it's been so incredibly tough, but their faith is strong and they are not giving up. This song is awesome! I used to listen to it while walking on the trail and praying for Ashlyn before we made the decision to make her a part of our family. Waiting is so hard, but that is where we find the sweet spot in life... TOTAL dependence on the Lord. There is truly no greater place to be.
We love you Bill & Brook. You are always close in our thoughts & prayers. We can not wait for that day to come.
