We were told how frustrating the adoption process can be, especially the Dossier part, but I REALLY am frustrated with how repetitive this how ordeal can be at times. I'll not go into the details and waste my time (and yours) whining, but SERIOUSLY, how many local police clearances & budget reviews does it really take??? And we aren't even to the Dossier part yet! I feel like we have been on this hamster wheel FOREVER. I guess maybe I'll feel better when the home study is finished, but we still have so much to do. Please pray that I can get my act together and balance this juggling act.
Tomorrow is a new day...

I love feedback from my bloggy friends, so comment away and I'll visit your blog too! However, if you're just lurking anonymously and leaving snarky remarks, this isn't the blog for you. My heart is always to reflect the love of Jesus and be a source of encouragement to others. If anything you read here gives you a check in your spirit, please feel free to lovingly disagree with me in grace:)

Oh man - and since the Hague it's gotten worse (we did one adoption pre-hague, one during hague, and one post hague). The post-hague dossier even required Marie to make a "heart attack road trip" to Frankfort to obtain a new birth cert for her and marriage license for us - the Secretary of State in Ky changed during our process and the 'old' document were no longer considered valid....yeah...
ReplyDeleteIf you need anything from Ohio - happy to lend a hand!
So go ahead and vent - that's what blogs are for and frankly - no body understands that better than us adoptive parents!!
hugs - aus and co.
