I can not believe all that has transpired over the past few days. In the middle of a crazy busy summer of Real Estate sales (praise God) we are reorganizing and rearranging the entire bedroom situation upstairs. New paint, new beds, new homeschool stuff... Wow. I'm pooped. I am doing ALL of the painting myself in order to save close to $1,000.00. It's been quite therapeutical. With every stroke of the brush and roller I have been mulling it all over with the Lord.
I woke up this morning with a song on my mind:
Philippians 4:13 is the verse that Matt has claimed. This song is about that very thing. We aren't strong enough on our own. But through God's strength, we can do ALL THINGS.
So we're gonna do it y'all. And we are thrilled.
As for Alex...
He wasn't too thrilled at first. He worries that it will detract from our time/love for him.
I explained to him that he is at the top of our list when we make big decisions. We consider him always and only want to add good things to his life, not take away from him.
He saw her picture and walked away.
5 minutes later he reappeared and said, "Ok. I'm good with it. Besides... She's really cute."

Just finished up sending our Care Plan to Lifeline...
PA should come in 2 weeks or less.

This is straight up awesome!!! I'm just getting caught up...oh, my heart! None of us is strong enough, but that's why it's so beautiful b/c then HE gets the glory. I am so excited to follow your journey & pray these babes home to their family.
