Thanks to Annie & Lauren! I got Annie Hamlin's link up on my side bar! I even cut and pasted! All by myself! Now I'm at another stand still. Annie's button had a box below it with letters that I cut and pasted into my html gadget thingy. The button for "Wild Olive Tees" and "Lifeline" doesn't have that box below it to cut and paste. It's just the button and it doesn't give me the option to cut or paste when I right click on it...
I need some help again y'all!
BTW, how come you all are so quiet??? I like interaction people!!!
:)
Blessings,
Rebecca

I love feedback from my bloggy friends, so comment away and I'll visit your blog too! However, if you're just lurking anonymously and leaving snarky remarks, this isn't the blog for you. My heart is always to reflect the love of Jesus and be a source of encouragement to others. If anything you read here gives you a check in your spirit, please feel free to lovingly disagree with me in grace:)

I am here, but I am also computer illiterate LOL Sorry I am no help.... Still here though lol
ReplyDeleteHey Rebecca - just busy - and not much of a web coder anymore! BTW - in "web speak" thingy = thingme!!
ReplyDeleteTry this - to see the code to copy and paste - open the item you want to copy in your web browser - then click (on the top of the web page) "view" and then in the drop down menu "source" and you will see in plain text the web code script you want to highlight. Highlight and copy and paste what you are looking for. How to fine what you are actually looking for can be tricky - but - you know the words that appear on the screen with the button - and different sections alway start with the left point bracket (<) a word like "script" or "source" and a right point bracket (>) and continue until a left point brackt a slash (/) the same word like "script" or "source" and a right point bracket. clear a mud right? Sorry I had to use the other characters - but if you type the code in a comment box it "executes" when you save and makes things goofy!
It's always good to stretch yourself - you can google web coding to get samples of the scripts you are looking for - or ask the original author to send you the script!
hugs - aus and co.
Ha...no help from me, either, but I'm impressed with what you've done so far! My poor blog needs a makeover & some updating, but I just don't think I have it in me at the moment. But I do keep checking in!
