Where to start?
I'll share this...
We went to an event at church Friday night called "The Vertical Church Tour", by James MacDonald of Harvest Bible Chapel in Chicago.
If you don't know who he is, google him and listen to a sermon. He's a gifted Bible teacher.
I really didn't know what to expect, but I knew it was going to be good... Because it's always good when James teaches. ALWAYS.
This is just 1 of the songs we sang. Close your eyes for a minute and picture a room of over a thousand believers, singing this song to the top of their lungs and lifting up hands in worship.
POWERFUL.
WORSHIP like I've never seen before.
And the message...
Even more POWERFUL.
You gotta hear it!
If you go to YouT*ube you can find a bunch of uploads, including the trailer, which pales in comparison to what was really shared.
You can also go to the Walk In The Word website and purchase the book.
Matt and I have been experiencing some amazing things this week. Some major answered prayer... There's too much to share, but the biggest thing we've received from the Lord is His amazing peace that we've so longed for. I am overwhelmed by God's goodness.
I'm speechless right now.
I feel like if I were to start, there'd be no way to put to words how I feel and words wouldn't suffice. Nor would I be able to find enough.
Even better...
Someone I dearly love who hasn't been walking with the Lord showed up at the Vertical Church Tour and has been asking for prayer. God is moving. He loves His people and He will go to the ends of the earth for us...
All we have to do is reach out to Him.
I'll share more later.
Keep us in your prayers.
A little glitch came up last week, after our sweet Social Worker left for a week of vacation (of course). I thought it was all cleared up, but we received notification from immigration today that they still have not received the information that they should've received a week ago.
I am confident that things will be A-Okay, but still... It's kinda wacky.
Hopefully we are still on track for November.
Then again, we still do not have the $26,000 necessary to travel.
Pray for my husbands business! All it would take is one big buyer and we'd have it y'al! Just 1! Or several little ones! We aren't picky! We WILL WORK for food! :)
Blessings,
Rebecca
Wow - great stuff - but you left one thing out so I'll say "thanks" to you for being open to accepting His Peace...it takes good soil as well as good seed!
