A Homeschooler's Excuse...

For not turning in their homework...

Ansley: "Um, mom... I can't do my math corrections."
Me: "How come?"
Ansley: "Because Harlie pee'd on it."

Against my better judgement, I allowed Ansley to let Harlie "watch her do her homework". See how his little bootie is hanging off the edge of the table???

Next thing I know, it sounds as if it's raining on paper in my schoolroom... Ansley's math was on the floor below Harlie's little bootie and he decided it was time to "go". :)


Bye-bye Harlie. It was nice having you. Now it's time for you to go home.

    That is hysterical! Isn't it such a blessing when God gives us homeschoolin' momma's situations where we just have to laugh? For me they typically come when I'm about to become the mean teacher :) Thank you Lord for humor!
