Who Are You People???

Ok Peeps! This is a way lame-o request, and I honestly do not blog just to see how many followers I can rack up, but it's so crazy! There are like over 100 of you people looking at my blog on a daily basis and yet my followers have remained at 36 forever! Why is that? Just sign up, will ya! I like to know who's out there! Are you fellow adopters? Believers? Non-Believers? I'm curious. I used to be a lurker too because I just didn't feel like taking the time to join everyone's sites that I frequented, but I took the time to do it one day and it was surprisingly painless;)

I've been sick since Sunday with the flu and now a lovely sinus infection and need some cheering up. Seriously. I'm never sick. It's depressing.

Leave me a note of encouragement and join my blog, will ya?

Isn't that just so pathetic? ;)

Oh, and if I were a Disney character, this is who I'd be:

Because seriously, I have no short term memory left. It's gone. I'll spare you the details.

So, who would you be?

Play along! I need a break from daytime TV. It's killing me!!!

Ok, I have now lost all credibilty with you people.

Good Night...

  2. Morning Rebecca - we're 3X adopted parents! We have 6 kids total, 3 bios from 23-28, and then three adopted, a 9 yo girl from Korea, a 6 yo girl from Yangchun and a 4 yo boy from Quingdao - so we've followed that journey a lot. As for how we found your blog, probably a post on one of the e-mail lists. I follow a lot of blogs, and while we have one, haven't made a post for months. Perhaps one day we'll get back to that.

Oh, and I'm a digital forensic guy - I'm guessing since your blog isn't "restricted access" that 60 or so of your hits are "bots" that are just hunting for information - sorry to bum your buzz!

    Love following your journey!

    hugs - aus and co.

    1. Well that explains it. I always wondered why there were so many page views yet so few comments! Thx Aus! I am quite computer illiterate. It's a wonder I have gotten this far with a blog! I have learned alot just by blogging tho. I can finally cut and paste! So sad. I know;)

  3. I don't remember how I found your blog, but have been following for awhile. I am a fellow adopter (twice), our girl is from Chongqing & our son is from Taiwan.

  4. Thank you for your comments Rebecca! I so enjoyed discovering your blog, and am thrilled to now follow along & pray for you on your adoption journeys. Both girls are beauties! Our little Gracie was peeking over my shoulder as I was looking at Abigail, and she said "Oh, I love that baby!" when I asked why, she said, "Because she's so cute and China-ey!" :)
    Have a lovely weekend!

  5. College student who just loves adoption and well I want to adopt one day and possibly to work in the adoption world one day. Pretty sure I found your blog off someone elses link. I may or may not read adoption blogs when I am procrastinating with my homework, seems like a great way to spend my time to me.

  6. Lilee was from Xiushan....it is rural about 10 hours south from downtown Chongqing! We didn't get to visit because it was so far away!! I can't wait for you to see China & hold your babies...it is incredible, you will never forget it!

  8. How do you sign up??
I'm a lurker if you want to call it that way. Occasionally I comment on a blog, but most of the time i just read. I can read and understand English, but to write it is a different story.
I live in Holland, and am a single mother to a 9Y old girl. No idea how i entered your blog (for some time now), maybe through Adeye? But I love adoption stories, and your family is amazing! Like to adopt myself someday, but i'm not in that place yet.
So now you know a bit more about one of your readers ;-)

Get well soon and congratulations on your LOA

I love feedback from my bloggy friends, so comment away and I'll visit your blog too! However, if you're just lurking anonymously and leaving snarky remarks, this isn't the blog for you. My heart is always to reflect the love of Jesus and be a source of encouragement to others. If anything you read here gives you a check in your spirit, please feel free to lovingly disagree with me in grace:)
