One of my favorite things to do is to sit up here and watch the storms roll in. The weather has been so predictable this week. Beautiful in the morning and stormy in the late afternoon. As I sat here on the balcony (of our good adoptive friend's condo that we rent for next to nothing every summer) this afternoon, I watched an airplane head off into the great unknown... Thought about my girls that are so very far away... You can almost forget just how big this world is... Until you watch a plane go and go and go and go... It seems so far away, yet it only took about a minute and then I think about how many minutes I'll sit on that airplane, heading off down the great big sky to China, and that makes me realize just how BIG this little world is... But even more magnificent...the greatness of our GOD.
He is so big.
So much bigger than me and all of my trivial little problems in life.
So much bigger than our financial fears.
We have so many things piling up at the moment...

*Homeschool curriculum
*More adoption expenses
*Another set of bunk beds
*$$$ taxes $$$
*Life

The storm got really thick and windy and dark. Lots of lightening and loud thunder. I should've taken a picture, but I was in making dinner...

What a cool place to stay. Glad you are getting a few moments to breathe...they might be few and far between for a while after that trek to China :)
