| Our friends Bill & Catherine live on and operate the farm that Bills great-grandpa settled over 2 decades ago. It has been passed down the generations...So cool, huh? The harvest corn, wheat, canola, soy beans...And PIGS:) They have a few thousand acres of land and several hundred pigs. The kids got to go with them to a pig roast one night with their church. |
| The sun setting behind the wheat. I wish I knew how to better use my Canon. |

| Country Baby |
| I was made for this life! I would drop everything and be a farm girl in a second! Well, maybe... |
| Avie and her buddy, Mr. Bill |
| They have a really great firepit that we sat around and made smores and had coffee until way dark. |
| midnight wrestling on the trampoline. |
Sadly, that was our last night. We woke up bright and early the next morning and headed down the looooooooooooooooooooong road home. 25 hours straight. No stopping except for potty and meals.
| Our car did veer off for one last stop to our other Canadian favorite: TIM HORTONS! |
| They make the best donut holes! |
| Me stylin' in my "Love Is On The Move" T-shirt. Love me some Leeland!!! |
| All buckled up and ready to go! Such troopers!!! |
| Daddy and his frappe. |
| A happy Averleigh. When she did get fussy a couple of times, I played the "get your piggies" game with her. |
| Any guess as to what these are??? |
Thanks for traveling along:) We are so happy to be home. There really is no place like it!
I hope you are enjoying your summer and making many wonderful memories with your family.
Blessings,
Rebecca
Ooops! I forgot our favorite day of all! Matt's parents always give us this day away as our birthday gifts. It's our favorite day of the entire year. I wish you could experience what this place is really like. These pictures just don't do it justice. The sounds, smells, sights, tastes... It appeals to all the senses.
| Bridgeway to Le Scandinave Spa... |
| This place is just breathtaking. It's tucked away in the trees down at the foot of the mountain. |
| The hot and cold pools. There is also a sauna and a steam room of eucalyptus. |
| We sit out under the trees and read. It's a silent spa, so no talking above a whisper. There is a big firepit burning yummy- smelling wood and soft spa music playing. It's the most relaxing experience ever. |
| Bye-bye Le Scandinave... Until next year. |
Looks like a wonderful time! And what fantastic birthday gifts! Sounds perfect. Many blessings to you and your growing family.
