Summer Vacation Part 3...

We left NYC after beakfast that Thursday morning and headed on down the long road to Canada. Grandma has a tradition of putting little gifts on everyone's beds... Even mine and Matt's:) The kids always look forward to this and run straight to their beds to find their treasures, which typically include water shoes, souvenirs, and sweets.

We unpacked and fell into bed ready to start the next day. Grandma and Grandpa live on the Georgian Bay and the kids have such a great time walking down there to climb the rocks, & dig for crawfish, & swim in the cool water...

walking down to the Bay with friends who live in town.

Averleigh LOVED playing in the shallow water and digging around in the sand.

Precious...

After the Bay, we headed home for the first of MANY backyard baseball games... And then dinner and Beaver Tails at the mountain...

Backyard Baseball...

"Art" at Blue Mountain (the ski resort in town)

The yummiest place to indulge in some sweet goodness:)

Beavertails!!! I always get the one with Nutella and powdered sugar. YUM.

In case you were wondering... A beavertail is a fried pastry. Kind of like fried pizza dough. It's divine.

"Beavertail? What beavertail?"
The next day we all loaded up and headed into Toronto to a Blue Jay's game...

This is some of the new Canadian money. Do you see where it's see-thru? So cool.

"Batter Up!"

Aidan wouldn't take his eyes off the game for a quick pic:)

The CN Tower in downtown Toronto. It's so tall that when you look up at it, it looks like it's moving.

That's all for now. One more round to go!
