Summer Vacation Part 2...

So, on we continue through New York City...

Matt especially loved the Apple store... It's underground.

Alex and his favorite name brand. He wanted to get some new slides until he saw the price tag. He enjoyed the free tour instead:)

My runnin' man. Have I mentioned that he entered the lottery to run in the NYC marathon in November and he was chosen?! This man wins EVERYTHING!!! I'm not joking.

Stunning architecture

More subway riding

AJ and Elaina's church brochure outside their building

As I mentioned before, AJ & Elaina live in the Chelsea Village of Manhattan. Across the street from them is a Bed & breakfast. The big kids spent the night with A & E, while me Matt and Av stayed in the B&B. That night they gave us a date night out without the kiddos. We ate at this yummy french Restaurant called La Grainne, while A & E took our kids to the park on the Hudson to play with Maximus:)

Our cozy little hotel room.

Matt & his favorite dessert, creme brulet

Yummy crepes!

Now you see it...

Now you don't!

The next morning we got up, went to beakfast and then headed on down the road again.

Our B&B

Have I ever mentioned that this girl can't stand even the slightest drip of water on her clothes? I figured, "eh, this is New York. Anything goes!" She did enjoy her YUMMY greek yogurt with granola, lavender honey, and fresh fruit.

Honk! Honk! Honk! Hooooooooooooooonk!

Goodbye New York! Until next time...

We had to take a pic of the Scranton sign in PA. Dunder Mifflin tour anyone??? Matt and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the old episodes of "The Office".

Next stop?

Grandma & Grandpa's house in Collingwood, Canada!!!

Still more to come...

Blessings,
Rebecca

  1. Looks like a blast! And listen - if he really wins everything - ask him to buy me a lottery ticket, and when it wins a couple million I'll pay for your adoption!! (and pay off ours too!)

hugs - loads of fun - looking forward to more -
