Hope For Tomorrow

"The Kings heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes."
~Proverbs 21:1

The good news is that we know that things have to get worse before Jesus' return. We know that things are not going to get "better"... really better until then. If someone is saying that peace is coming (Oprah & Glennon) you know them to be false prophets. Peace is not coming until the day we see Jesus friends. No politician is going to bring us true peace. Not Romney, not Obama. Our country has abandoned the beliefs it was founded on. We no longer cheer for righteousness, nor do most people even know what that word means... even many so-called Christians.

It's time to eat the Word y'all. Eat it, breathe it, sleep it...

KNOW it. LIVE it.

It is our source...

Our daily bread.

Teach it to your children (Deut. 6:4-9...)

Teach them of God's faithfulness. Tell them your stories of God's faithfulnesses in your personal lives. This is what the Israelites failed to pass on to their children and it is why generations fell away and worshipped other gods. Our stories of what God has done for us are inspiring. They make us love God more! Think of it, when you hear someone's adoption story, don't you just light up inside? That's because it's about GOD! HE did that! We sure as heck know it wasn't us!

We can not be quiet. We have to tell our children of His faithfulness if we want for them to "get it".

This is what keeps me on my knees.

Not my personal safety or well-being, but that my children would be HIS.

Praising the King of Kings,
Rebecca

I love feedback from my bloggy friends, so comment away and I'll visit your blog too! However, if you're just lurking anonymously and leaving snarky remarks, this isn't the blog for you. My heart is always to reflect the love of Jesus and be a source of encouragement to others. If anything you read here gives you a check in your spirit, please feel free to lovingly disagree with me in grace:)
